Managing Your Calendar
Keeping your calendar up to date prevents conflicts and helps clients see your real availability.
Connecting a calendar
Go to Settings, then Calendar. You can connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. Once connected, your external events are imported and Anixiv will flag potential conflicts before you bid on a request.
Blocking time
You can manually block time directly in the Anixiv calendar. Blocked slots appear as unavailable and prevent clients from requesting bookings in those windows.
How bookings appear
When a client confirms a booking, it's automatically added to your Anixiv calendar. If your external calendar is connected, the event syncs there too.
Appointment windows
Requests include time preferences (morning, afternoon, evening, flexible). When you bid, you're committing to serve within the window the client specified. Make sure you're genuinely available before placing a bid.
Running late
If you're running late to an appointment, use the "On My Way" button in the active booking to notify your client automatically. This keeps communication professional and protects your rating.
Back-to-back bookings
Anixiv doesn't automatically add buffer time between appointments. If you need travel or prep time between services, block that time manually in your calendar.
