How to Post a Request
Posting a request is how you find the right beauty pro for you. Tell us what you need, and providers come to you with their best offers.
Step 1: Start your request
From your dashboard, tap "New request" or the "+" button. You'll see three ways to book:
Choose your pro (most popular): Post what you need, providers bid with their price and portfolio, and you pick the one that fits. Great when you want to compare options before committing.
Book fast: The first available provider takes your request. Perfect for blowouts, touch-ups, or when you need someone ASAP.
Browse and book: Search by name, specialty, or rating and book someone directly. For when you already know exactly who you want.
Step 2: Pick your category
Select from six categories: Hair (cuts, color, balayage, braids, silk press, extensions, barbering, kids cuts) / Nails (gel, acrylic, Gel-X, nail art, mani, pedi) / Lashes and Brows (extensions, lifts, lamination, tinting, shaping) / Makeup (bridal, event, editorial, lessons) / Skincare (facials, peels, dermaplaning, acne treatment) / Body and Wellness (spray tan, waxing, massage, lymphatic drainage)
Step 3: Add your details
Date and time: Pick the day and time window that works (morning, afternoon, evening, or flexible).
Location: Your place, their studio, or either works. Choosing "either" is the most flexible option and tends to get more bids.
Budget: Optional, but it helps set expectations so providers can bid within your range.
Inspo photos: Upload photos of the look you're going for. Requests with photos get up to 40% more bids, so this one's worth doing.
Notes: Anything else your pro should know. Think hair length, color history, allergies, skin sensitivity, that kind of thing.
Step 4: Review and post
Look over your request summary. You pay exactly the service price your provider quotes. No additional fees are added.
Tap "Post your request" and you're live. Providers in your area will start sending bids.
What happens next
You'll get notified as bids come in. Each one includes the provider's price, estimated time, a personal message, and portfolio photos. Compare them side by side and go with the one that feels right.
Once you accept a bid, you'll pay a deposit to confirm. The remaining balance is held on your card but not charged until the service is complete.
Tips for getting great bids
Be specific about what you want. Add inspo photos. Choose "either works" for location to cast a wider net. Set a realistic budget. Post at least 2 to 3 days ahead when you can, unless you're using Book Fast.
