Understanding Your Fees

Anixiv charges a platform fee on completed bookings. The fee is deducted from your earnings before payout. Clients pay no booking fees. The fee structure is tiered based on how you connected with the client.

Fee tiers

15% on your first marketplace booking with a new client

When a client finds you through the Anixiv marketplace and books with you for the first time, the platform fee is 15%.

10% on returning marketplace clients

When the same client rebooks you through the marketplace, the fee drops to 10%.

5% on direct link bookings

When a client books through your personal Anixiv booking link (anixiv.com/yourname), the fee is 5%. Share your link with past clients and anyone who refers you to reduce your fee on future bookings.

0% on My Clients bookings

When you book a client you already have a relationship with using the My Clients feature, there is no platform fee.

Minimum fee

There is a $5 minimum fee on all non-zero tier bookings. On a $30 service at 10%, the fee would be $3 but the minimum applies, so it becomes $5.

How it's applied

The fee is calculated at booking time and deducted from your payout after the service is completed. Your bid price is your gross price, and your payout is the bid price minus the platform fee.

Example: You bid $150 on a marketplace request from a returning client. The fee is 10% = $15. Your payout is $135. The client pays $150.

Reducing your fees

The most effective ways to lower your average fee: share your direct booking link with clients so they book at 5%, add existing clients through My Clients (0%), and build repeat relationships so marketplace clients move to the 10% tier.
