How Deposits Work

Deposits confirm your booking and protect both you and your provider.

How much is the deposit?

Deposits are typically 50% of the total service price. The exact amount is shown on the checkout screen before you confirm.

When is it charged?

The deposit is charged immediately when you confirm a booking. The remaining balance stays on hold and is only charged after your provider marks the service as complete.

Is the deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable within 24 hours of your appointment. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice, your deposit can be refunded. See the Cancellations and Refunds article for full details.

What if I no-show?

If you don't show up for your appointment without canceling, the provider keeps your deposit. This policy exists to respect your provider's time since they've blocked off their schedule for you.

What about the remaining balance?

After the service is complete, the remaining balance is automatically charged to the card you used for the deposit.
