How to Message Your Provider
Anixiv has built-in messaging so you and your provider can coordinate without sharing personal contact info.
When can I message a provider?
You can start messaging a provider as soon as they place a bid on your request. You don't need to accept the bid first. This is useful for asking questions, requesting more portfolio photos, or discussing details before you commit.
How to access messages
Tap the "Messages" tab from the bottom navigation or your dashboard. All your conversations are listed there. You can also tap the "Message" button directly from a bid or an active booking.
What to use messaging for
Coordinating appointment details (exact address, parking, gate codes), asking about what to prep beforehand, sharing additional inspo photos, discussing any changes to the original request, and confirming timing on the day of your appointment.
Response times
Providers are independent professionals, so response times vary. Most respond within a few hours. If you have an urgent question close to your appointment time, mention that in your message.
A note on privacy
All messaging happens inside Anixiv. You're never required to share your phone number, email, or social media with a provider.
